The fight for sovereignty is a fight from 2010 or 2015. It was trying to solve a problem that many people understood only too late. By building our own platforms early enough, there was still time to pull ourselves out of a system of subordination that feeds on the extraction of economic value (subscriptions to services), of attention value (advertising money) and of data (the ability to reverse engineer our companies and the state).
It is a subject the political world never understood. And if it is taking it up again today, it is essentially as a security reflex in the face of Trump’s statements, and because the general public has understood that it is living in the consequences of the non-world that technology from elsewhere still leaves it.
The reality is that the fifty billion euros invested in French Tech since Emmanuel Macron came to power will mainly have served to lean startups and large companies comfortably against those platforms, with no guarantee of real value creation.
But as important as that fight may have been for me and a few others, it is now a secondary fight.
The real emergency is preparing for the agentic singularity: a system that will, starting this year, begin to destabilize France’s entire economic financing system, which is based on payroll contributions.
It is a subject nobody is really talking about today.
And I am still waiting for the politician running in 2027 who can address it without caricature, or address it at all.
How do we prepare for this? It is a conversation I am opening with subscribers.

- How do we properly understand the world we are stepping into, and thrive thanks to the new capabilities being offered to us?
